We're proud of the range and quality of the articles, notes, commentary, and information in Plum Lines, the quarterly journal of The Wodehouse Society.
We do not plan to publish each issue on line but we will keep these sample issues available at this site so prospective members can see for themselves what they'll get four times a year with membership in TWS.
The actual issue is a 24-page, 8.5 x 11 inch publication; the on-line HTML issue (Summer 2000) is essentially identical in content, without trying to duplicate the pagination or layout. The on-line PDF issue (Spring 2005) is more like the printed version.
In a few instances color photographs were available for online use; they appear as black-and-white photos in the printed edition.
Aunt Dahlia (Elin Woodger Murphy, former president of TWS) has been working on a complete index to all the articles in Plum Lines over the years. The index has recently been updated to include all issues from 1980 to 2006.
(An older version is available as an HTML document here: Plum Lines Index, 1980-2001.)
A printed version of the 1980-2006 edition is also available. To obtain a copy, send a check or money order for US$7, payable to The Wodehouse Society, to:
